This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to be an integral part of our Metering team. Working at our Dimlington Gas Terminal you will be responsible for maintenance, repair and operational testing of all trade (Metering) related equipment and systems to ensure efficient, reliable and safe standards on all installations. The successful candidate will work with the Metering Support Engineer and Tech Op team members to obtain safe working conditions in day-to-day operations, with special emphasis on maintenance tasks and environmental activities.

This role operates on a regular shift pattern of one week on and one week off, 12-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Calibration and recertification of metering equipment as per company, partner and OGA guidelines
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on metering equipment
• Fault find on field instrumentation such as pressure, temperature, and DP transmitters
• Monitor and track calibration schedules
• Management of test equipment recertification
• Management of field equipment certification
• Ensure metering document (drawings) update/control
• Maintain audit trail for metering systems
• Calibration and maintenance of online gas chromatographs
• Sampling of produced fluids
• Review and processing of sample analysis reports
• Coordination of spares & repairs
• Provide technical input for projects

Key Requirements Include:

• Familiar with metering systems such as orifice plates, USMs and Coriolis meters
• Capable of carrying out verification, calibration & maintenance of oil and gas fiscal and allocation metering systems
• Rectification of breakdowns and fault reporting
• Maintain appropriate certificate records and logbook entries to provide suitable audit trail
• Capable of following operating and maintenance procedures
• Awareness of AGA and ISO codes of practice
• Experience with the operation of metering maintenance packages
• Identify Hazards and perform Risk Assessments in accordance with PUKs Safe Systems Of Work
• Assist in writing dispensation and mismeasurement reports
• Self-motivated with an attention to detail

Safety & Environmentally Critical Tasks:

There are a number of Safety Critical Tasks that you will be made aware of and systems you will be required to competently operate.

Qualifications /Skills / Experience:
• HNC/HND in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent industry experience/qualifications
• Compression Fittings and Small-Bore Tubing – desired but not essential
• Piping Joint Integrity - MJI10 Training & Piping Joint Integrity - Final Assessment TMJI10 -desired but not essential
• CompEX - desired but not essential
