This is an exciting opportunity to start your career in Health and Safety Career at Wytch Farm, an onshore oil and gas facility located within a uniquely sensitive triple Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Your role will include working alongside an experienced and supportive HSE team, assisting with administrative activities and providing technical support while undertaking structured learning and professional development in health, safety and environmental management.

The role is designed to build practical, real world HSE competence, supporting safe, compliant and environmentally responsible operations across the site, and offering an excellent foundation for a long term career in HSE.

This is a Monday to Friday site-based role with time allocated for study. 

Key Responsibilities Include: 

•	Provide administrative support to the HSE team, including record keeping, document control, and data entry.
•	Assist with the preparation, review, and distribution of HSE documentation such as procedures, risk assessments, and method statements.
•	Support incident, near miss and hazard reporting, including data collation and trend analysis.
•	Assist with site inspections, audits and safety tours under supervision.
•	Support the coordination of HSE meetings, inductions, and training sessions.
•	Maintain HSE databases, registers, and compliance trackers.
•	Assist with environmental monitoring, waste management records, and regulatory reporting.
•	Promote positive HSE behaviours and awareness across the site.
•	Work towards recognised HSE qualifications as part of the apprenticeship programme.
•	Undertake any other reasonable duties to support the HSE function.

•	Proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop – including study towards an industry recognised HSE qualification
•	Genuine interest in health, safety and environmental management within an industrial or energy setting 
•	Able to follow procedures and maintain high standards of safety and compliance 
•	Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office 
•	Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks 
•	Team focused, with willingness to work in an industrial onshore oil and gas environment

Qualifications: 

•	GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 4 or above, including English, Mathematics and a science subject
•	Full UK driving licence required due to site location

We are looking for a Cargo supervisor, on a rotating schedule (5 weeks ON in Central Africa - 5 weeks OFF).

Mission:
- In charge of maintenance of deck and cargo associated equipments, including structure
- Loading and offloading program under OTS supervision
- In charge of order request and follow up for deck and cargo system
- In charge of inspection and maintenance reports for all deck and cargo system
- Supervision of cargo team (pumpmen) :
Cargo system routine maintenance preparation and follow up
Cargo transfer and handling procedure and follow up

Competency:
- Knowledge of class and international and rules applicable to F(P)SO
- Operational control of trim, stability and stress, including in case of structural damage
- Operational handling of cargo (Inert gas system, venting system, cargo pump…)
- Knowledge of F(P)SO construction, inspection and reporting of structural defects
- Monitor and control safe practices
- Knowledge of interrelationship between marine operation and specific production activities.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
- Basic safety training
- Advanced fire fighting training
- Survival craft training
- Oil tanker training program qualification (STCW A-V 1-1-2)
- First aid training.&lt;br /&gt;
